Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 17, 2026
AfterworkCoder ("we," "us," or "our") operates Pupwise (the "App"), a puppy training app with a clicker, a whistle and a shared puppy log, for iPhone and Apple Watch.
The short version: what you log stays with your household. The App has no account, no server of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs of any kind. We never receive what you log, and we have no way to read it.
What We Collect
Nothing. We collect no personal information, no usage analytics, no crash telemetry and no advertising identifiers. There is no sign-up and no email address. On Apple's App Privacy scale, the App's classification is
Data Not Collected
, apart from purchases, which Apple handles. What You Log, and Where It Lives
Your dogs' profiles (name, birth date, size, photo and training goals), everything you log — pee, poop, accidents, meals, water, naps, crate time, walks, play, training sessions, treats, medicine, weight, notes and photos — your lesson progress and your reminder settings are stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. That database belongs to your Apple Account, not to us; we cannot access it. If iCloud is turned off, everything stays on your device only.
Photos are chosen with the iOS photo picker, so the App never gets access to your photo library — only to the photo you pick. Photos you add to a dog or an entry are stored with that entry and sync with it.
Household Sharing
When you invite someone (a partner, family member, sitter or walker), Apple's CloudKit sharing gives them access to your household's dogs and log in iCloud, including photos. You send the invitation yourself by Messages, Mail or a link. Everyone you invite can see and add entries, and each entry shows the name each person types into the App as their name on entries. You can remove someone at any time, and they lose access. Sharing works only between Apple Accounts; the data travels between your household's devices through Apple's iCloud, never through a server of ours.
Exports and Reports
Spreadsheet (CSV) exports, the sitter care sheet and the trainer progress PDF are created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. You choose where they go. We do not receive them, and we are not told what you shared or with whom.
Apple Watch, Widgets, Live Activities, Controls and Siri
The Watch app, widgets, Live Activities, Control Center controls and Siri shortcuts read and write the same log on your devices. The Watch talks to your iPhone directly. Siri requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; the App receives only the action you asked for (for example, "log a pee for Biscuit").
Reminders and Alarms
Potty, meal, medicine and parasite-prevention reminders, the night alarm (AlarmKit, on iOS 26) and the trial-ending reminder are scheduled locally on your device. They use no push token and no server. When a household member logs an entry, iCloud tells your devices so reminders can move; that notice comes from Apple's iCloud, not from us. The App never sends notifications to sell Premium.
Sounds and Predictions
The clicker, whistle and socialization sounds are generated on your device. Potty insights and the predicted next trip are simple arithmetic done on your device from your household's own log. Nothing is sent to any AI model or online service.
Links to Other Sites
Some lessons link to public pages, such as directories of certified trainers and veterinary behaviorists and veterinary guidance. Those open in Safari and are covered by those sites' own privacy policies. The App does not pass any information to them.
Purchases (Pupwise Premium)
Premium is sold through Apple as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple processes the payment and we never see your payment details; the App is told only whether Premium is active. If Family Sharing for purchases is on in your Apple Account, Apple may share Premium with your family group.
Sharing of Information
We have no information to share, sell or disclose. There are no third-party service providers, analytics vendors or advertising partners involved in the App. Apple's role is limited to processing purchases and storing your household's log in your own iCloud account.
Your Rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA grant rights to access, correct, delete or port personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. You can export your log as a spreadsheet at any time, edit or delete any entry, stop sharing with anyone, and delete all data from the App's settings. Deleting the App and its iCloud data (Settings → Apple Account → iCloud) removes it entirely.
Children's Privacy
Pupwise is meant for dog owners and the people who help them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect personal information at all.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If the App ever began collecting data, we would update this policy and the App's App Store privacy labels before that version shipped.
